Our weekend trip out on the boat with Mom and Pops out to Sucia Island. John and I camped in a tent and had an incredible view from our tent door. The sunsets were outrageous!

SHEVAUN AND HAWK KIDS (March 16, 2010)
I wanted to create an album just specifically for Shevaun and Hawk pups since our past puppy album is getting so full of beautiful dogs. We have only produced 9 litters in our "career" so we are not seasoned breeders, but we are blessed to have seen our dogs greatly improve structurally in 5 years. This will always be our goal, dedication to quality.

Hawk was honored by judge Eleanor Brown with a Champion win as well as a Best of Breed and a Terrier Group 1 win. He took those honors over his sire Desert High Light of Eternity aka Prince.
MAY 31 & JUNE 1, 2008 ENUMCLAW WA SHOW:
Hawk took a Champion win and a Best of Breed as well as a Group 1 under judge Francis Geiger. He took these wins over his sire, Desert High Light of Eternity aka Prince. This is a great accomplishment at only 8 months of age. .

Hawk took three Best of Winners under the following judges to complete his UKC Champion title in one show weekend:

Penn~Hip test results are 0.30L & 0.30R
Hawk's report states that his hips are tighter than approximately 100% of the Rat Terriers in the database. Alternatively 0% of the Rat Terriers in the database have tighter hips than Hawk.
Hawk's patellas have been vet checked twice and are rock solid.
Hawk's heart has been vet checked and is completely normal.
PLL TEST RESULTS:CLEAR!
We took Hawk to Pat Hastings on April 8, 08 for evaluation. She went over him and all she could say....repeatedly... is "this is one pretty puppy...." She really liked our boy and we take that as a high compliment. Gary and Debbie did an awesome job on this boy and his siblings and they will be the first to tell you that it is the Lord's hand that has made these fabulous dogs. I just want to say thank you to them and the Lord one more time for this awesome boy. He is SOME DOG....

**HEALTH TESTING**
On February 23, 2007 we took Shevaun to our veterinarian and had a hip x-ray as well as patellas and heart screen done. Shevaun's hips are well seated and will pass OFA certification. Her patellas were rock solid, even under sedation and her heart is sound.
Shevaun is a tad over 14" and weights 18lbs.

June 28th, 2008 Cruz was neutered at the age of five. He is in perfect health and has sired some marvelous dogs. We are so blessed that he gave us the girls he did and are going to take those daughters and granddaughter and move forward with our new male Hawk. Cruz will always be my heart dog and will always remain here with us. He is part of our family. This boy gave me a wonderful start to my breeding program. Love ya Cruzie....
We are so grateful to the Creator God and to Julia Kleutsch of Poochville Kennels for this truly amazing dog. Cruz achieved his champion status in one weekend at just 8 months of age and he was Champion of Merit award winner at the UKC Premier in June of 2004. We then went on to Grand Champion Cruz in only three weekends. He is the foundation of our line and a grand little dog with a gentle heart of gold. With the Lord's help this little dog has done more than I could have asked and hoped of him.

Flame was honored with a Best of Breed and Reserve Best in Multi Breed Show on March 26th at the Volcano View Rat Terrier Club show. We wish to thank judge Rodger (Butch) Bennett for seeing the potential in this fine girl. At the time this was awarded to Flame she was only 6 1/2 months of age and it was her debut show.

PAST CRUZIN' PUPPIES (March 12, 2005)
This album contains pictures of my past puppies either born here at Cruzin' kennel or sired by our stud dogs. We are very proud of our wonderful offspring. We invest so much of ourselves into our pups that by the time they reach their new homes they have been thoroughly socialized, litterbox trained, examined by a veterinarian for congenital defects and general health and evaluated by Pat Hastings. Our puppies have also been through the Bio-Sensor/SuperDog program from day 3 to day 16. We are commited to Natural Rearing with our puppies.
I would like to thank each of the fine people that own one of these Cruzin' beauties. We received, in answer to prayer, incredible perfect homes for each of these wee ones. We all enjoy a very special bond and I am so grateful for the wonderful people that the Lord introduces to me through our dogs. Thank you all so very much!!! |

ARIZONA TRIP (November 4, 2009)
I have been blessed to take two trips to Scottsdale AZ with my friend Sharon and these are photos of our journey as well as of their home in Scottsdale. We drove through Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, California and, of course, Washington. It was a wonderful trip and we were BUSY bees to say the least. I got to do and see some wonderful things. We bought fresh dates from a date farm on the way home and fresh Pistachios from California. YUM! The weather was in the 80's and 90's most of the time we were there and it was a wonderful second summer!! It was a false reality and had to end unfortunately as we came home to cool temps but the day we got home, the Lord blessed us with sun here too! YAY!!!! My photos don't do the house justice, and it is only in the beginning stages, as there is much decorating yet to do. But it is fun to have these photos and then to compare them to later photos after the work has been done. Sharon and Gary's home is 5600 sq ft and has 4 bedrooms, 6 baths, a great room, den, gourmet kitchen, exercise room, game room, bar, media room, wine room, all gathered around the center courtyard that has no roof, so you can sit out and enjoy the open environment. Floors are all Travertine except bedrooms with carpet. All counters are gorgeous granite. Backyard will house a gorgeous pool with waterfall, flagstone patio with built in grill, fridge and sink., cabana with misting system and fan. What a beautiful home.

CRYSTAL PEAKS YOUTH RANCH (September 11, 2008)
My sweet daughter works at the most amazing place and I have had the pleasure of visiting several times. Crystal Peaks Youth Ranch was founded by Kim and Troy Meeder and was a used up cinder pit. This dear couple bought the land and piece by piece restored it with leftover landscaping material from Troy's landscaping business. They rescue neglected/abused horses and rehabilitate them. Children from all backgrounds, with all sorts of stories come to this place to spend some time with the horses and staff and to just be a kid. It is a place where you feel God's pleasure, healing and His peace. What a joy that my daughter can work there and that she has been able to give of her gifts and her compassion there. I just wanted to share some of the pics I have taken. Enjoy... |

GOD'S GLORIOUS CREATION (September 15, 2007)
This album is filled with glorious examples of God's beautiful creations. These photos are from Bend OR and Eastern Tennessee. We had the joy of driving out to Warm Springs Indian Reservation and taking photos of the wild mustangs that run loose. What a thrill!! God's creation always brings me such joy and inspires me to worship Him...the Creator. I hope that as I share these photos they cause you to pause and think of Him and tell Him how grateful you are that He is who He says He is...the Living God!

2005 WHATCOM COUNTY YOUTH FAIR/DOGS (April 16, 2005)| I and my family have the wonderful priveledge of superintending the dog division of the Whatcom County Youth Fair. This year was our 4th year and we had 50 children and almost as many dogs. We always have such a wonderful time seeing the children every year and their marvelous dogs. We had many wonderful demonstrations again this year. We had an educational poster contest. The children had to present their posters and communicate to the rest of the division all that they had learned about their particular breed. As always it was wonderful. We had a costume contest, bandana decorating (so their dogs could wear them) a tracking demonstration, a veterinarian, an agility club, a US Customs drug detection dog, and a best trick contest. Oh and I almost forgot!! We had the Guide Dog Puppy Raisers too!! We had a wonderful time and we built so many wonderful memories with the kids. Hope you enjoy the pics as much as we do. |
